Abstract |
Photospheric thermal radiation is one of the most important mechanisms for the gamma-ray burst (GRB) prompt emission. We have performed a series of numerical hydrodynamic simulations of GRB jet propagation from collapsars to study radiative properties on the photospheric thermal radiation. The light curves of photospheric thermal radiation are derived for the observers at different viewing angles. We derive light curves and spectrum of each model. The spectrum power law index below the peak energy is a little softer one for 0 to 2 degrees observers. On the contrary, the spectrum power law index below the peak energy for larger viewing angle observers is similar with those of Band function. We have numerically found Amati and Yonetoku relations are possible for wide range of peak energy. |
