Title

Hydrodynamic simulations of polarized quark cores.

Abstract

Calculations are performed on the structure of bare quark stars assuming total charge neutrality, as opposed to the local charge conservation. The quarks up and down and the electrons are assumed massless. The quarks concentration is calculated by means of the constancy of the Klein’s potentials for each quark flavor. A positive charge distribution is found in the core which increases with the mass of the quark strange. The electrons do not neutralize locally the positive charge, producing overcritical electric fields in the electrosphere of the star. The mass-radius relation of the stars as function of the charge distribution is discussed. The stability and radial oscillation of the quark star is studied by direct numeric simulations in spherical symmetry and assuming different electric charge profiles.
