Abstract |
We study a class of holographic superconductors dual to Lovelock AdS gravities coupled to nonlinear matter fields. We provide a simple method to test different choices of the matter couplings that admit charged black hole solutions in the bulk and have phase transitions in the boundary. We find an exact formula for the free energy of this system in any dimension and we analyze its properties, such as the extrema and stability. |
