Title |
A quantum gravity extension of the inflationary paradigm | |||||

Abstract |
Using techniques from loop quantum gravity, we extend the theory of cosmological perturbations to the era where curvature and matter densities are of Planck scale. The analysis includes a quantum gravity treatment of the spacetime geometry from where an inflationary phase arises, and a clarification of what the trans-Planckian problems are and what they are not. In addition, this approach provides examples of effects that may have observational implications, and may provide an avenue to test the basic quantum gravity principles employed here. |
