Title

Reheating after f(R) inflation and observational constraints
Co-authors

Abstract

Seeking the physical origin of the primordial inflation and the present cosmic acceleration is one of the most important theoretical challenges of cosmology today. Recently, an unified model of these two cosmic acceleration epochs has been proposed in the context of f(R) gravity. In this model, the reheating dynamics after the inflation is significantly altered by requiring the stability of the theory. We investigated the reheating dynamics in detail and found that typical parameter range of the model has already been excluded by the observations of cosmic microwave background and gravitational waves.
