Abstract |
In this talk I will give an overview of the effective field theory (EFT) formalism for the treatment of compact object binary inspirals. I will also review recent progress in the computation of higher order post-Newtonian corrections via EFTs, focusing on new theoretical developments in the treatment of radiative effects, spin, and radiation reaction. |
