Co-authors | ||||||||
Abstract |
The GP-B flight cryostat kept the science instrument assembly at less than 2K for 17.3 months. An overview of the dewar development and how the science instrument (inside a Probe) was inserted into a cold dewar is described. Finally, a comparison is made between the flight dewar performance and three other programs. |
