Abstract |
Advanced Virgo represents the evolution of the initial Virgo gravitational wave detector: its goal is to improve by a factor of ten the sensitivity of the first generation interferometers. The most relevant design aspects and instrumental upgrades of Advanced Virgo will be discussed and the installation planning and expected schedule will be presented. |
