Abstract |
The Fermi mission and its Large Area Telescope (LAT) have dramatically increased our capability to detect and monitor AGNs in the GeV energy range. More than 1000 AGNs have been detected so far. The overwhelming majority of these are blazars. With the available data we are able to map out many of the observational properties of gamma-ray AGNs, such as variability, spectral shape, correlations with other wavelength bands and how these properties differ between the various source types. We will review some of the main results on AGNs obtained from the first few years of the Fermi mission. |
