Title

Charged and rotating black holes in 5D Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory
Coauthors Jutta Kunz, Francisco Navarro-Lerida, Eugen Radu

Abstract

We study topologically spherical black holes in 5-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory, with free Chern-Simons coupling parameter. The black holes are electrically charged and have both angular momenta with equal magnitude. The boundary of the domain of existence is studied, and we compare the results of asymptotically flat solutions with the asymptotically Anti-de Sitter ones. We find that, beyond a certain value of the Chern-Simons coupling parameter, uniqueness is no longer granted. New interesting configurations are found, like a family of non-static radially excited solutions with vanishing total angular momentum.
