Abstract |
I will review recent measurements of the neutron star radius, using neutron stars in quiescent low mass X-ray binaries. The talk will also present the methods employed, systematic uncertainties will be discussed, and the capability of the future European Space Agency X-ray observatory mission Athena to measure the dense nuclear matter equation of state using this method. |
