Abstract |
Cylindrically symmetric static Lorentzian manifolds are known to have Petrov types I, D and O, but the corresponding metrics for these types are not known. Here we provide explicit list of all type O metrics whereas type D metrics appear in the form of classes of metrics. Residue of all these type O and D metrics then give type I metrics. Later some of the physical characteristics of these metrics will be discussed as well. |
