Abstract |
We discuss a cosmological model based on a Finsler geometric extension of general relativity. The basic idea of this model is to replace the metric geometry of spacetime by a more general length functional. On this geometric background we discuss fluid dynamics based the kinetic theory, which models fluids by the geodesic motion of particles. Further, we discuss how to implement cosmological symmetry for both the background geometry and the kinetic fluid. We finally bring these two ingredients together and discuss a model for Finsler fluid cosmology. |
