Abstract

Following the Induced Gravitational Collapse (IGC) scenario and the Binary-driven Hypernovae (BdHNe) scenario, we interpreted the second part of the prompt emission of 130427A, which peaked around 100 s after the trigger, as due to interaction between Gamma-ray burst (GRB) ejecta and Supernova (SN) ejecta. We propose that this emission could be considered as a typical Swift-XRT flare. Next, we propose an idea that most of the XRT flares are due to interaction between GRB ejecta and SN ejecta. To this aim we have searched for XRT flares with known redshift and concentrated on the isotropic energies of the corresponding GRBs, and the rest frame occurrence of the flare. We find that most of them concentrate in the T = 20-200 s interval, and have isotropic energies above Eiso = 10e52 erg – the lower limit energy for the IGC scenario.
