Title

Entanglement dynamics of atoms in black-hole spacetime

Abstract

We study the entanglement dynamics between two two-level atoms at a fixed radial distance and also moving on different geodesics in Schwarzschild spacetime. We consider the atoms to be coupled to a common quantum electromagnetic field, which is taken to be in the Boulware, Unruh and Hartle–Hawking vacuum states. First we consider the case where the atoms have no direct interaction with each other; then we generalize the results for the situation in which there is a dipole-dipole interaction between the atoms. Our aim is to identify and to analyze quantitatively the distinct contributions of vacuum fluctuations and radiation reaction to the entanglement dynamics between the atoms. Brief comments on the black-hole information loss problem are presented.

Title

The Influence Of Boundaries On Radiative Processes of Uniformly Accelerated Entangled Atoms

Abstract

By using a first-order approximation in time-dependent perturbation theory, we investigate radiative processes of accelerated two-level atoms in an entangled state interacting with a common massless scalar field constrained by the presence of material boundaries. We study the transition probability per unit proper time. We obtain contributions proportional to the sum of the accelerations of the atoms as well as terms depending on the relative acceleration between them.
