Title

Pulsars as probes of Gravity and Fundamental Physics
Coauthors

Abstract

Pulsars orbiting the Galactic centre offer an independent tool to explore the space time properties around the central black hole. With high precision, the mass, spin and quadrupole moment can be determined. We can show that the correlated uncertainties in these measurements are nearly orthogonal to those obtained from measuring the shape and size of the shadow the black hole casts on the surrounding emission. The combination of these different methods thereby promises a unique insight and tests of gravitational physics.
