Title

Renormalized stress-energy tensor for Stueckelberg massive electromagnetism and Casimir effect

Abstract

We discuss the Stueckelberg theory of massive electromagnetism on an arbitrary curved spacetime (wave equations, BRST invariance, ghost fields, Ward identities, Hadamard representation of the Feynman propagators) and we obtain the associated renormalized stress-energy tensor. We also discuss Casimir effect to point out that Stueckelberg theory is more appealing than Proca massive electromagnetism.
