Title

Research on Burst Gravitational Waves with the Hilbert-Huang Transform
Coauthors

Abstract

The reconstruction of waveform is one of the most important issue of source parameter estimation in the GW astronomy. We investigated a method of reconstruction of waveform for burst gravitational waves from core collapse and core bounce of rotating stars. In this analysis, we used the Hilbert-Huang Transform that is a novel adaptive time-frequency analysis and characterizes the GW signals in noisy data. We will show the match of waveforms and source parameters between reconstructed and injected signals.

Coauthors

Abstract

We will report the present status and future direction of development of KAGRA Algorithmic Library (KAGALI) for data analysis of gravitational waves. This presentation includes the concept and the basic structure of the library as well as how to use it.
