Title

Logarithmic Corrections In The Entanglement Entropy
Coauthors

Abstract

In a d-dimensional free conformal field theory, it has been known that a relevant deforma- tion operator with a conformal dimension ∆ = (d+2)/2 generates a logarithmic correction to an entanglement entropy. In this paper, after deforming the AdS space with massive bulk scalar fields dual to a fermion mass and a Yukawa term, we investigate logarithmic corrections in the large t¡¯ Hooft coupling limit. We show that there are two logarithmic corrections caused by metric and minimal surface deformations. They usually have the same form expected in the weak coupling limit and are universally proportional to the entangling surface area. In addition, we find that more general relevant operators with ∆ = ((2n−1)d+2)/(2n) can lead to new logarithmic corrections, which are also proportional to the entangling surface area.
