Abstract |
The fermionic fields of all maximal supergravity theories can be arranged in a single multiplet of a unifying R-symmetry group. The kinematical and dynamical formulation of this will be reviewed. I will discuss how the fermionic fields of the standard model with their electro-magnetic and strong quantum numbers can be deduced from this set-up. |
