Title |
Dark Matter density distribution in dwarf spheroidal galaxies | |||||

Abstract |
Halos of Dark Matter dominated dwarf spheroidal galaxies are very well fitted by simple shaped phenomenological profiles like the pseudo-isothermal sphere. Thereby the halo radius is often defined as the half-light radius. Theoretical investigation in thermodynamics and statistical phyiscs raises profiles with more details in shape. The classical isothermal sphere and the enchanced fermionic Dark Matter model fulfilling additionally the Pauli principle are compared with cuspless phenomenological profiles and applied to dwarf spheroidal galaxies. |
