Title

Baryogenesis via Sterile Neutrino Oscillation
Coauthors

Abstract

The seesaw mechanism with right-handed neutrinos is one of promising solutions to explain the tiny neutrino masses. Even if the masses are below the electroweak scale the mechanism can work and the mass eigenstates, which are called as sterile neutrinos, also can be responsible for the baryon asymmetry of the universe. Due to the relatively small masses the baryon asymmetry is generated through the oscillation of sterile neutrinos and the whole system conserves the lepton number effectively. In this talk we discuss the feature of this baryogenesis, which is completely different from the ordinary leptogenesis, and refer to the relation with the resonant production of sterile neutrino dark matter.
