Abstract |
The neutrino signal emitted during the collapse and explosion of a core collapse supernova carries unique information on the dynamics of the star explosion and on the characteristics of the newborn proto-neutron star. We provide an overview of the detection channels in order to assess the physics potential provided by a future galactic event. In particular we will discuss the opportunity to use neutrinos to investigate the structure properties and to help the search of gravitational waves. |
