Wave Function Of The Universe With A Tachyon In A SUSY FRW Cosmology

Abstract

From a supersymmetric generalization of the usual closed string tachyon effective action in a FRW background, we find exact general solutions to the Wheeler-DeWitt equation. These solutions, with dependence on the tachyonic superpotential and the scale factor, can be normalized given certain integrability conditions for the superpotential. With this quantum state, we construct an effective theory for the scale factor of the universe where we interpret the tachyon as an internal natural time. We present results of the general analysis and discussion of an example with specific tachyonic superpotential.
