Talk Title

“Sponge Model” As The Hydrodynamical Background For GRB Afterglow Phase

Abstract

In this talk we present the synchrotron radiation of GRB afterglow phase within the paradigm of a simple “sponge” model. The motivation for this model came from the existence of “hotspots” in supernova remnants which lead us to believe that ejecta created in aftermath of GRB events have considerable internal fragmentation. In this case luminosity-time dependence of GRB afterglow phase was viewed as the imprint of kinetic energy loses by matter collection of gas fragments (clouds) moving within bulk GRB ejecta. We considered various combinations of both gas fragments and bulk ejecta - namely free expansion, Sedov expansion and constant geometry.
