kappa-Minkowski star product in any dimension

Abstract

We address the problem of describing a specific model of quantum space-time, the so called k-Minkowski space, in terms of a noncommutative algebra of functions with deformed (star) product. We derive an explicit expression for the star product reproducing the k-Minkowski Lie algebra in any space-time dimension $n$. The result is obtained by suitably reducing the Wick-Voros product defined on $\C^{d}_\theta$ with $n=d+1$. It is thus shown that the new star product can be obtained from a Jordanian twist.
