Sterile Neutrino role in Low and Highest energy astrophysics |
|
Abstract |
Sterile neutrino may be active in early Universe and in stellar evolution mostly by rare oscillation with active neutrinos. In particular they may play a role in escaping earlier in supernovae explosion offering a rare but detectable signal in future Megaton detectors. Moreover sterile neutrino, relic from early Universe Big Bang may be here playing a role in cosmic Dark matter and Galaxy formation. Finally sterile neutrino may play a role also in Highest energy Astrophysics explaining a rare puzzling correlation in highest energy Cosmic Ray maps. |
