Entropy in locally-de Sitter spacetimes |
Abstract |
If general relativity is constructed on a de Sitter spacetime, instead of a locally-Minkowski Riemannian geometry, spacetime turns out to be endowed with a Cartan structure, giving rise to a geometry that reduces locally to de Sitter. In such geometry the definition of difeomorphism changes, which in turn produces concomitant changes in the definition of entropy usually defined as the Noether charge associated to difeomorphism. This new entropy is explicitly shown for the Schwarzschild-de Sitter solution, in which both horizons show up as a unique entangled system. Such entanglement, together with energy conservation, create a constraint between the black hole activity and the evolution of the de Sitter radius, providing in this way a new scenario for the study of cosmology. |
