Research on Burst Gravitational Waves with the Hilbert-Huang Transform |
Abstract |
The reconstruction of waveform is one of the most important issue of source parameter estimation in the GW astronomy. We investigated a method of reconstruction of waveform for burst gravitational waves from core collapse and core bounce of rotating stars. In this analysis, we used the Hilbert-Huang Transform that is a novel adaptive time-frequency analysis and characterizes the GW signals in noisy data. We will show the match of waveforms and source parameters between reconstructed and injected signals. |
