Re-analysis for statistics of binary mergers events |

Abstract |
We analytically discuss the expected relative detection rates of merging compact by networks of ground based interferometers. Our approach is similar to Schutz (2011), but we explicitly and perturbatively include the dependence of the polarization angles of the binaries, based on the concise formulation given in Cutler and Flanagan (1994). We also apply a similar method for probability distribution function (PDF) for inclinations of merging compact binaries detected by detector networks. |
