Lambda or Not Lambda |

Abstract |
For nearly two decades (to be precise 17 years from 1998) after direct discovery of the cosmic acceleration, cosmological constant or Lambda term has been the most favorite candidate of dark energy. Lambda dark energy is one of the main pillars of the concordance model of cosmology and has been so far supported by various different cosmological observations. In my talk I discuss about possible ways to probe and falsify Lambda, briefly discussing about the prospects of studying dark energy in near future. |
