Prospect For Observational Discriminant Of The Gravitational Theories |

Abstract |
We focus on Eddington-inspired Born-Infeld gravity as a modified theory of gravity, and consider the prospect for observational discriminant of it from general relativity. We are successful to show that the coupling constant in the theory can be determined in principle via the terrestrial measurements of the neutron skin thickness of ${}^{208}$Pb together with the astronomical observations of the radii of $0.5M_¥odot$ neutron stars. |
