Hamiltonian Analysis Of A Pure Connection Formulation For General Relativity |
Abstract |
In this talk we show that Krasnov's action principle, the pure connection formulation for complex general relativity with nonvanishing cosmological constant, can be obtained from Plebanski formulation in an alternative fashion. The new procedure has as starting point the Plebanski's action in which all the relevant fields and constraints are encompassed, and then, by systematically integrating out some of the the fields involved in it, we finally arrive to Krasnov's formulation. We also perform the Hamiltonian analysis of the Krasnov's action and show that the phase space of the Ashtekar formalism is recovered. |
