Abstract |
I will derive the equations that govern the pulsation of electron gas around giant nuclei, present spectrum and stationary modes where possible as analytic expressions and numerically otherwise. Then I apply these results to investigate the general dynamics of the system using the spectral method, focussing on a harmonic driving force exerted on the electron gas by the breathing mode of the underlying nucleus. |
