Title

Two Component Advective Flow Paradigm for Stellar, Intermediate Mass and Supermassive Black Holes and Neutron stars
Coauthors

Abstract

In presence of vertically stratified viscosity, a low angular momentum, sub-Keplerian flow around a black hole is segregated into two independent flows, interacting only through radiation processes. The standard Keplerian disk on equatorial plane is surrounded by low-angular momentum matter which follows the transonic flow equations and form a standing, oscillating and/or propagating shock wave. This so-called Two Component Advective flow paradigm, has been found to be totally successful in addressing every aspect of X-ray observations such as spectral and timing properties, time lag properties for stellar mass black holes etc. When used for intermediate mass black holes and the supermassive black holes, this solution is equally successful. Application of this model gives us with the accretion rates of the two components, size of the Compton cloud (CENBOL), and even the mass of the Central compact object. A modification is required when we use this solution around a neutron star, since there will be a normal boundary layer also as the second source of soft seed photons. We discuss these solutions with observational data.
