Title

Reaction rates for relativistic plasma with quantum degeneracy

Abstract

We investigate a thermalization process of non-equilibrium relativistic electron-positron-photon plasma solving numerically relativistic Boltzmann equations with the exact QED collisional integrals taking into account all binary and triple interactions of particles. Two cases are considered with equilibrium temperatures: non-relativistic case (51 keV) and mildly relativistic case (1.5 MeV). We provide a reaction rates analysis for all binary and triple processes. It is shown that kinetic equilibrium state appears for non-relativistic plasma and absents for mildly relativistic plasma. Also we discuss a role of quantum degeneracy for thermalization process in relativistic electron-positron-photon plasma.
