Title

AN AXISYMMETRIC SOLUTION OF EINSTEIN’S EQUATIONS WITH QUADRUPOLE

Abstract

We present a static axisymmetric solution of Einstein’s field equations. Assuming that the deviation from spherically symmetry is small, we linearize the corresponding field equations with the perfect fluid source and up to the first order in quadrupole parameter. In the vacuum case, we reduce the vacuum field equations and found several classes of vacuum solutions. We show that the metrics can be used to describe the exterior gravitational field of deformed distributions of mass in which the quadrupole moment. We will present a particular interior solutions with the exterior metric and conditions on the behavior of the metric functions near the center of the source and on the boundary with the exterior field.
