Title

Electromagnetic Signature Of Massive Scalar-Tensor Theories In Neutron Star Spacetime

Abstract

We study the innermost stable circular orbit, the orbital and the epicyclic frequencies of a particle on a circular orbit, as well as thin accretion disks around neutron stars. The examined neutron star models are in slow rotation approximation in massive scalar-tensor theory and scalar-tensor theory with self-interaction. The corresponding electromagnetic characteristics are examined and compared with the general relativistic ones. The possibility to set constraints on these theories with electromagnetic observations of pulsars is discussed.
