Abstract |
We will review the non-relativistic procedure outlined in arxiv: 1505.02095v3 that enables one to derive a consistent Newton–Cartan formulation of non-relativistic gravity from General Relativity. We will show how this procedure can be extended to obtain a so-called `string-like' version of Newton-Cartan gravity and investigate several aspects of this new non-relativistic gravity model. |
