Title

Scattering of Dirac fermions by Black Holes with Spherical Symmetry -analytical phase shifts-

Abstract

In this work we will present original results that consist in obtaining analytical phase shifts, which enter into the definition of partial scattering amplitudes, for the case of fermion scattering by Bardeen black holes. Our recent published results (EPJC, (2016) 76:102; EPJC, (2016) 76:413) on fermion scattering by Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordstrom black holes will be also briefly reviewed. For all three types of black holes the scattering phenomena of glories, spiral/orbital scattering, absorption and induced polarization are showed to be present. Up to now in the literature the fermion scattering by black holes was investigated using mainly numerical methods. Our studies are the first ones to report analytical expressions for the phase shifts and the differential scattering amplitudes.
