Low energy precision experiments at the Paul Scherrer Institute |

Abstract |
The high power proton accelerator at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) provides up to 1.4MW average beam power to target stations producing the highest intensity low momentum beams of secondary pions, muons and ultracold neutrons (UCN). Some experiments with UCN and muons searching for violations of fundamental symmetries, for exotic interactions and hypothetical dark matter candidates will be discussed. |
