Prospects for a New Era of Open Science |

Abstract |
This presentation Introduce to the concept of Open Data and Transparency (at least in the literature) and the impact on the science field in order to have an Open Science. Then aim is to analyse the main requirements to have an open data and its connections with the concept of transparency, explaining characteristics and benefits. The main elements that limited the development of open data so far will be presented. A focus about the role of the web interface to enhance open data will be part of the presentation. According to the literature will be presented a model to evaluate how much open data in the space science field is really open to respond to the increasing demand for reusable data and knowledge. |
