Equal-Spin Limit of the Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spacetime

Abstract

The most general higher-dimensional rotating black hole is described by the Kerr-NUT-(A)dS metric. It includes rotational and NUT parameters as well as the cosmological constant and can describe various geometries (maximally symmetric spaces, Euclidean instanton, black hole solutions). It also admits explicit and hidden symmetries associated with the principal closed conformal Killing-Yano tensor. The main focus of our work is a limit of the metric when several rotation parameters are set equal or vanish. In the resulting metric, the symmetry is further enhanced.
