Black holes in bimetric relativity

Abstract

Black hole solutions are a fertile ground to understand the structure of modified gravity theories. We consider them in Hassan–Rosen bimetric theory with main focus on the physics at the shared Killing horizon and the asymptotics at large radii. We introduce a new classification for the black hole solutions and show that the only solutions that converge to Schwarzschild, Schwarzschild–anti-de Sitter and Schwarzschild–de Sitter in the Lyapunov sense are equivalent to those of general relativity.
