Horava-Lifschitz cosmologies via Noether symmetries

Abstract

We consider the Noether symmetry approach to derive exact cosmological solutions in the Horava-Lifschitz theory. Instead of considering phenomenological models, we apply the Noether symmetry formalism at the level of the Lagrangian for cosmological models. We also obtain a viable effective equation of state and the corresponding scale factor, whose behavior turns out to be in agreement with observational data.
