Talk Title

Non-Relativistic Supergravity

Abstract

Non-relativistic (e.g. of Newton-Cartan type) supergravity theories can be useful for studies of non-relativistic holography or in the construction of supersymmetric toy model effective actions for condensed matter systems. For practical applications, it is often necessary to consider off-shell supergravity theories. In this talk, I will first review how on-shell non-relativistic supergravity theories can be constructed. I will indicate the obstacles that are encountered when trying to extend these constructions to the off-shell case. Finally, I will discuss recent progress in the construction of off-shell non-relativistic supergravity and potential applications.
