Dark Matter from Quantum Gravity |

Abstract |
Using effective field theory methods, I will show that quantum gravity predicts the existence of new degrees of freedom besides the massless spin-2 mode recently observed in the form of gravitational waves. This is a model independent prediction of quantum gravity which does not depend on the UV completion. I will show that these new degrees of freedom could account for dark matter. |
