Abstract |
With NICER up and running and the ATHENA mission in preparation there is need to study into more details what is the influence, if any, of the spin on the observed spectrum. Using the newly developed NOVAs framework which comprise of a GR code GRAMRVAC coupled with the ray-tracing GR code gyoto, we computed a series of simulated disk spectrum for a variety of black-hole spin. Using standard models from xspec we fitted those spectrum and look how they performed to give us the parameter of the simulated spectrum. Here we report on our finding and how we could improve the existing models to get better insight in the physical large scale disk parameters. |
