Astrophysical and cosmological aspects of metric-affine theories of gravity |

Abstract |
We discuss some recent findings in the context of modified theories of gravity formulated in metric-affine spaces. These theories are compatible with solar system experiments and with the recent observations of gravitational waves. Within this context we shall focus on a set of new results regarding several aspects of compact objects (including black holes), and in cosmological applications regarding bouncing and loitering solutions and their stability. |
